The Badminton World Federation (BWF), in partnership with the World Academy of Sport (WAoS), is pleased to announce the opening of a new cycle of scholarships for the Postgraduate Certificate in International Sports Management, offered by WAoS and the University of London.

The Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in International Sports Management is designed for two key groups:

1. Dual Career Athletes – Individuals who are balancing elite sports careers with their educational pursuits.
2. Badminton Community Professionals – Staff members of BWF Member Associations and others working within the badminton community.

About the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in International Sports Management:
The course is fully online, offering flexibility to accommodate the demanding schedules of athletes and industry professionals. Participants can complete the program over a period of up to five years, recognizing that learning needs vary at different stages in their careers.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• An undergraduate degree (e.g., a bachelor’s degree) or a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience, with professional references.
• A minimum English language proficiency of IELTS 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in the written test, or other equivalent certification.
• Be in good standing with their Member Association.

Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted by 15 June 2025.
