SAFE SPORT OFFICER
ITP Sport is an independent third party who will guide you through the complaints process and/or explore other options. ITP Sport is empowered to supersede Badminton Canada staff and launch appropriate policies as required based on evidence or a situation reported. Your contact with the Safe Sport Officer is confidential, subject to certain legal limits. The independent Safe Sport Officer is a certified workplace harassment resources/investigator.
The existence of this Independent Third-Party (ITP) does not prevent individuals from contacting Badminton Canada directly with complaints if they are comfortable with the process.

About ITP Sport
ITP Sport operates independently to ensure impartiality and fairness in addressing complaints. Their responsibilities include:
- Complaint Intake: Receiving and managing complaints through their reporting platform.
- Investigating and Resolution: Conducting impartial investigations and working towards fair resolutions.
- Confidentiality: Maintaining confidentiality throughout the complaint process to protect all parties involved.
- Reporting: Providing periodic updates and final outcomes of complaints to the organization while maintaining the integrity of the process.
- Training and Support: Offering guidance and training to organizations on how to integrate and use their service effectively.
Members of the Organization
Members play a critical role in ensuring the success of the ITP Sport Service. Their responsibilities include:
- Awareness: Familiarizing themselves with the ITP Sport reporting process and organizational policies.
- Participation: Reporting any concerns or incidents to ITP Sport as necessary.
- Compliance: Adhering to the organization’s code of conduct and safe sport policies.
